Ardent Skies LLC
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
Ardent Skies LLC ("Ardent Skies," "we," "us") is a one-person consulting practice based in Bend, Oregon, US. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this simple because our data practices are simple: we collect only what we need to talk with you and do the work.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the details you choose to provide: your name, email address, an optional store or company URL, what you are interested in, and your message. We use these only to respond to you and, if we work together, to scope and deliver the engagement.
Information collected automatically
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. These logs are not used to build advertising profiles.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry and communicate with you.
- To scope, deliver, and support the services you ask for.
- To keep records of our engagements and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.
Service providers we share with
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the site and our business. They process information only to provide their service to us:
- Form delivery. Contact form submissions are processed by a third-party form service (Web3Forms) and delivered to us by email.
- Hosting. This website is hosted on Vercel.
- Email and business tools. We use standard email and productivity tools to read and respond to your message and to manage engagements.
- Payments. If you purchase a product, payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We never receive or store your full card details.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Data from audits and engagements
When you engage the Shopify Conversion Audit or another service, we are deliberate about data. We work with read-only access wherever possible, use order data only in aggregate, and do not retrieve or store your customers' personal information. Access granted for an engagement is revoked when the work is delivered. If a refund is issued on a purchased report, related access is revoked and our working copies are deleted.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry and engagement information for as long as needed to respond, deliver the work, and meet our records, tax, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws (for example, California residents under the CCPA). We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us through the contact form and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including working with reputable providers and limiting access to what we need. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our site and services are intended for businesses and the adults who run them. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
